Dr Margaret Dunkley is a highly experienced and qualified General Surgeon who maintains a broad range of current surgical skills and practices.
Dr Dunkley works at Mildura Base Public Hospital, and at the Mildura Health Private Hospital, and at the Calvary Adelaide Hosptial.
Special interest procedures that Dr Dunkley performs include; Laparoscopic Surgery, Cancer Surgery (including breast, skin, & colon), Public and Private Endoscopy and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr Dunkley is actively involved in medical education. She is Director of Surgery at the Mildura Base Public Hospital.

We perform emergency and elective General Surgery procedures including Hernia repair, Cholecystectomy, Appendicetomy.

Bariatric Surgery
Dr Margaret Dunkley works in conjunction with Dr Justin Bessell in AMOS Clinic to provide comprehensive obesity management including medical management, allurion balloon, laparascopic sleeve gastrectomy and bypass surgery.

Breast Surgery
Dr Margaret Dunkley manages benign and malignant breast conditions including breast lumps, nipple discharge and breast cancer.

Cancer Surgery
We provide investigations and management for cancer including skin cancer, breast cancer and bowel cancer. All cancer is managed in a multidisciplinary team with complex cases being referred for tertiary management.

Public & Private Endoscopy
Dr Margaret Dunkley is a GESA accredited endoscopist. She performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy for both public and private patients.
